Chinese Vegetarian Festival

This annual auspicious event is a most colorful and dramatic celebration which takes place during the first nine days of the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar. The 9-day event is usually in late September or early October.

The origin of the festival is unclear. However, it has been passed from generation to generation that it originated in the south-eastern part of China near Fujian Province. The festival was celebrated to make merit and save animals from being killed for food.

In Thailand, the most talked-about vegetarian festival is in Southern Province of Phuket where the auspicious ceremony is held in a grand celebration. During the 9-day period, the devout Chinese Buddhists dress in white attire, convert to vegetarians and observe the ten rules in order to purify their minds and bodies.



My interest

My interest is "Ukulele".  

The ukulele stringed musical instruments of The Hawaii, which is play easily and can play any style as a guitar. It is also portable, with its small size and compact. The chords are using the same as chords of guitar. The only difference is how to catch. Therefore, we can use a ukulele play all the music on this planet is in the song book and in websites easily.

 The ukulele is a very easy instrument to play then it become popular for a lot of people who live music include the actors, singers and many professional artists by we can see a lot of television and media.

My Learning English

When I was young study at kindergarten and primary school, English is subject that I like because I feel happy.  I learned about the conversation and grammar, which the lessons are easy and not difficult to understand.  But when I upgrade to study at secondary school, the lessons are more difficult than at primary school. I must remember increase in vocabulary, I learned grammar more than in the past and more difficult, make I was bored and did not want to learn English.  I think it's difficult. I don’t care to learn it.  But when I study at high school I need to start preparing for entrance examinations to study in university.  It makes me turn to attend in English again. I started recite the vocabulary at least 5-10 words for a day, read the grammar books which in later I change my though that English is important, is international language and in the future I must use it certainly therefore I should not neglect it.
